He completed an Internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center at Philadelphia , PA followed by a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh , PA and Fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Currently on the active staff in the Department of Radiology at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Dr. Patel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. He is a professional member of the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society and Radiological Society of North America.
